NOTE:
These drivers use an exploit to registered as signed and may flag windows defender, and report it as a trojan.  THIS IS A FLASE POSITIVE.  Exploits and firmware spoofing is required to get around hardware locks.  This uses behavior similar to trojan.

It is recommended to disable windows defender before downloading, extracting, and  when running the installer. Windows Desktop users should also be disconnected from the internet before installing.  Once installer completes, you can turn back on your security and reconnect to the internet.

I am running this driver on my  own server with zero trepidation (I run Sophos endpoint and it wasn't flagged so I didn't initially note it in the video or reddit post).  Windows server also seems to install fine when connected to the internet still, but windows desktop fails.

Nvidia goes to great lengths to lock this card down.  The only way to get around firmware locks in windows is unsigned drivers, that will come with restrictions, or drivers that take advantage of an exploit. We are essentially "Hacking" the card for purposes NVIDIA didn't intend it for.
